Treatment for the sake of preserving teeth is not only a desire, but also the main goal of our clinic’s work. However, in some clinical situations, tooth extraction becomes unavoidable. Severely decayed teeth that cannot be treated, including deciduous teeth, extra-complete teeth, teeth with III and IV degree of periodontitis are subject to extraction. In some cases, healthy teeth are extracted on the indications of an orthodontist – to create space in the dental arch when correcting the bite.
In some cases, it may be necessary to perform a soft tissue grafting of the oral cavity. This may be necessary to change the shape of the gums, as well as for the fixation of crowns. This procedure is performed only after preliminary diagnostics of the oral cavity and if there are indications for its performance.
