In order for the construction to be not only durable, but also comfortable and anatomically correct, it requires precise computer calculations, micron precision of manufacturing and high qualification of the doctor. <\/p>\n
So there is no more in common between modern veneers and their Hollywood ancestors than the Wright Brothers airplane and the modern jet airliner.<\/p>\n
When are veneers necessary?<\/h2>\n
The main purpose of veneers is to correct aesthetics. Here is a basic list of indications in which veneers would be a good and justified choice. In any case, you can decide whether veneers should be used for you only after consultation with a doctor. <\/p>\n
The main thing to understand is that veneers cannot correct the bite, as braces or eliners do, but eliminate exactly the visual defects, working on the aesthetics of the smile<\/p>\n

They have good aesthetics, and the service life of veneers made using this technology can be up to 10 years. When choosing such veneers, it should be taken into account that the material can darken over time from smoking, coffee and coloring products. The main advantage of such structures is their repairability. <\/li>\n- Ceramic<\/strong>
\nThe veneers are about 0.5 mm thick and have excellent aesthetics. The service life of such veneers is more than 10 years. They are not subject to discoloration. From the disadvantages – ceramic is strong, but fragile, and therefore in case of injuries and careless handling can break off. In this case, repair of ceramic veneers is impossible – only replacement is possible <\/li>\n- Emax premium ceramics<\/strong>
\nThis is usually what we recommend. It has all the advantages of ceramic veneers, is characterized by excellent aesthetics and is much stronger and more resistant to chipping, which increases the service life and allows for thinner onlays, approaching the thickness of lumineers. Such veneers can serve for more than 20 years. From the disadvantages in this case can be noted only the price – such onlays are somewhat more expensive than veneers made of simple ceramics <\/li>\n- Zirconium dioxide<\/strong>
\nThe champion in terms of durability among veneers. Stronger than pressed ceramics, resistant to chemical influences, the only thing where it loses a bit is aesthetics. It is too dense, and therefore its transparency is lower than that of ceramic and such veneers look less natural. To level this disadvantage, there are veneers of silicon dioxide with a thin ceramic lining to improve the situation with transparency and naturalness of color transitions. But, in any case, the aesthetics of such veneers are noticeably inferior to premium ceramics. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nWhen choosing veneers it is very important to choose the right color, many people mistakenly insist on too light shades, and after some time they want to change it to a more natural one. Unfortunately, simply replacing the color will not work. The only way is to remove the old and put new designs. So the choice of color should be treated as responsibly as possible

As with virtually any medical procedure there are contraindications to veneers.<\/p>\n

Nothing bad happens. Decay cannot form under the veneer. Therefore, veneers do not pose any additional danger to the teeth. The main thing is to treat tooth decay before installing veneers, but this moment will necessarily control the doctor. P.S.
